What do Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, and Sheryl Crow all have in common other than music? Give up? They all played music last weekend for huge parties thrown by Northern Trust, a Chicago-based bank that recently took in 1.6 billion dollars in bail out money from the US Government.
What mainly caught my imagination, is why would these 3 (previously thought of) class acts contribute to bilking the tax payers of money we can't afford? Some of the lyrics these folks have come up with over the years about altruism, compassion, and love, seem to have taken a back seat to greed. They HAD to know who they were performing for.
