I heard one of the most profound statements I’ve heard in years
a few weeks back. It came from one of my all-time favorite movies “The Wizard
of Oz”.
It was when Dorothy first met the Scarecrow. She asked him what
was wrong, as he was hanging on his post. His reply was that he was upset
because he didn’t have a brain. She told him it was ok that he didn’t have a
brain, but wondered how he could talk without one.
His reply was classic! He said “I don’t know, but people talk
all the time without having a brain”. Never have truer words been spoken.
